So, lets introduce the team.....
The Cyclists

Chris Harrison:- My cousin and the reason we are doing this adventure. Chris said he's like to help raise money for Martin House "How about a cycle from London to Brighton?" he said. Over the next few weeks it somehow developed into a 450 mile bike ride from Martin House to Paris :-)
Chris has a Justgiving Fundraising Page. So please support Chris by clicking on the link below:-

Dexter Stevens: Dexter is my nephew and was kindly volunteered for this event by my lovely sister, Lorna. However, as luck would have it Dexter is as keen as mustard and been doing a worrying amount of training. It's good to know we've got someone in the team to push us up hills and take the head wind!

Carl Hitchens: Very proud Father of Harry, Grace and her twin sister Emily. After the dissapointment of not being able to compete in the London Marathon I needed a new challenge to help raise awareness and funds for Martin House and this initially appeared like a comparable mission..... Now however, with 450 miles ahead of me, I'm not so sure!

The Support Crew

Luke Stevens: My brother in-law and Dexters dad. Luke has kindly offered to drive the Support Wagon. Luke is also the team mechanic. He can fix anything with just a ball of string and a cocktail stick. Something tells me he's going to need more than that to keep the Bongo going.
Paul Matthews (Silent member of the team): My other brother-in-law. Paul is better known for his skills in the kitchen but he has managed to get the support vehicle (his beloved Mazda Bongo, aka 'dogging wagon' see photo below) back on the road with full tax and MOT (which is no mean feat!). Thank you Paul. And thanks for letting Luke know the fuel guage doesn't work ;-) that's reassuring... To be honest, I'm more worried the Bongo isn't going to complete the journey than us completing it!

The Bongo.
Note: the big handles on the back for pushing it....
